The Shake Out - A Networking Event for Iron Casters
The Steering Committee for the National Conference on Contemporary Cast Iron Art and Practices invites companies, organizations, universities offering MFA programs, and other sculpture opportunities to participate in a networking event for NCCCIAP participants.
Representatives are asked to be present for the entirety of the event, scheduled for Saturday, April 5th from 11:00AM-2:00PM. Each representative will have table space and is encouraged to bring all manner of promotional materials (please do not bring "for sale" items).

Representatives, especially those from MFA programs or Art Organizations, are encouraged to offer short portfolio reviews to prospective students. Participants must complete this application form by March 21, 2025, so that we may plan accordingly.

Call for Performance Volunteers
Are you interested in iron performance but have never had the opportunity to participate? Look no further! We are seeking curious volunteers to assist Marjee Levine, the 2023 Charles Hook Award Winner, with the 2025 NCCCIAP opening performance. We are specifically seeking to give people who do not have access to iron performances in their current environment an opportunity to take part in and learn in a friendly and educational way. If you do not have any experience, no problem! Some experience, but want to know more? Great! You will learn by actively contributing to a collaborative iron performance.
No prior experience required.
PPE can be provided if you do not have your own. But you do need pour-safe clothing and boots.
Limited spots available.
Crew members will need to be onsite and ready to work Wednesday (4/2) at 12:00 pm for check-in/team meeting + prep!
